Gloucester cathederal

Hubby and I went out for the day yesterday. We went to Gloucester. We went as far as the park and ride and then got the bus from there. Don't have to think about where to park that way. Not been here for awhile. We used to when we had the narrow boat as we used to moor up in the docks.
The first picture I took was the day before when we went out to get crab apples to make some jelly with.
I love thr cathedral its such a lovely place. As you can see they are doing it up and have been for some time. I love all the stone work inside as well its so beautiful. The  processional cross was used in th coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11 in 1953. The last picture is a clock that rings in the high street and it has a lovely sound to it.
Thank you for reading this and any comments. I love to read them.
